Previous Red Bull team principal Christian Horner is reportedly "contacting nearly every team principal" as he seeks a re-entry to Formula 1, as stated by Aston Martin F1 chief executive officer Andy Cowell.

The Silverstone-based squad is among the organizations that have been linked with the ex-boss.

The Aston Martin CEO mentioned he had checked the situation with team principal Lawrence Stroll recently at the Singapore GP.

"It seems like Christian is ringing up pretty much every team owner at the moment," said Cowell.

"I can clearly say there are no arrangements for the participation of Christian in an operational or investment role in the future."

Further Organizations Respond

The US-based squad team principal Ayao Komatsu revealed that the former Red Bull leader had "reached out to" the American squad but added: "Things haven't advanced. The matter is closed."

Alpine managing director Steve Nielsen revealed the team's executive adviser and unofficial chief Flavio Briatore was "long-standing acquaintances" with the ex-boss.

The team official continued: "I'm unaware what they converse about. Everything I know is there are no plans for Christian to come to Alpine but that doesn't mean it couldn't occur."

The historic British team chief James Vowles confirmed that the ex-chief had not reached out to them.

"We're content with the setup we have and it's functioning," the Williams boss said. "There's no cause to change from that."

Background Context

Horner is free to return F1 by the second half of the coming year after concluding a separation agreement with Red Bull on 22 September.

The veteran motorsport figure was dismissed as Red Bull team principal after the British Grand Prix in July.

Various insiders at the organization have indicated the financial arrangement was estimated at 60 million euros (£52 million).
